2016 Year in Review

Foster rabbits are saved through a mix of luck, love, and hard work. Here are stories of special rescues from 2016. Each rabbit touches our hearts.

Please donate to help us save rabbits in 2017. Every bit helps!

Titan is a big boy who needed help in a big way! He was rescued from the middle of the road in Sparrows Point where he could not hop away due to a spinal injury.

His recovery is still ongoing, but thanks to the loving care of his foster family and medical team, Titan should have a good life.

We can help special needs rabbits like Titan due to generous donations from people like you.chapin-and-penelope

Do you recognize Chapin? He was rescued in 2014 after being abandoned outside in DC. Well, he found a new friend and a new home this year! Penelope was looking for a companion and we are so happy they have each other now.

Bunny bonding takes time, energy, and a lot of patience for our volunteers, but seeing the connection between a bonded pair of rabbits makes it all worth it.

Did you know? Many of our rabbits live with us for a year or more before finding a forever home.

Our adoption fees cover just a small portion of the cost of spay/neuter surgery. Ongoing care such as food, litter, hay, toys, and more are covered by your tax-deductible donations and our volunteers. Your generosity makes a real difference for each foster rabbit.
