2014 Year in Review
We rescued 61 rabbits and found homes for 70. These rabbits come to us from far and wide, but they all need love and care.
Our rabbits depend on YOU! Adopters, donors, fosterers, and volunteers are all vital to save these rabbits.
Please donate to help us save even more rabbits in 2015. Every bit helps!
Chapin was found shivering in a DC alley at Thanksgiving. A concerned citizen contacted us, and two volunteers coaxed him into a carrier. He is friendly and gentle, so we suspect he was a family pet turned loose. He is enjoying the good life now! He wishes for a forever home in 2015.
Her name may be Pumpkin but she is all about Christmas! Pumpkin came into foster care in fall of 2010 from a rural shelter in Virginia. She was adopted just a few months later, but sadly, the family returned her this year. She was scared and sad to lose her home. Luckily, she quickly made a new friend! General Bismark and Pumpkin are good friends now and they both enjoy holiday costumes.
Did you know? Many of our rabbits live with us for a year or more before finding a forever home.
Our adoption fees cover just a small portion of the cost of spay/neuter surgery. Ongoing care such as food, litter, hay, toys, and more are covered by your donations and our volunteers. Your generosity makes a real difference for each foster rabbit.
